Actor Ravindra Mahajani, who was discovered deceased on Friday, may have passed away three days earlier: Police

The Marathi actor Ravindra Mahajani, whose body was discovered dead in his Talegaon home near Pune on Friday, is thought to have passed away three days earlier, a police officer said on Saturday. The veteran actor's body would be given to the family for final rites after his autopsy, the officer added.

After neighbors raised concerns about a bad smell coming from the residence, Mahajani was discovered dead in a locked unit at the Xrbia Housing Society in the Ambi neighborhood of Talegaon Dabhade.

Hours before his body was discovered on Friday, Gashmeer requested a friend in Pune to go check on his father in Talegaon Dabhade.
